Computer Engineering Student
Building a foundation in software, electronics, microcontrollers, circuit debugging, and engineering design.
Computer Engineering @ University of British Columbia
I am Ryan Cao, an engineering student focused on autonomous systems, embedded Linux tools, and practical robotics. I like turning hardware constraints into clean software behavior.
My work sits between software engineering, robotics, and embedded systems: autonomous corridor driving, Raspberry Pi reliability daemons, GPIO-based monitoring, and mechanical gripper prototypes. I am looking for software, robotics, and AI opportunities where reliable systems matter as much as impressive demos.
Building a foundation in software, electronics, microcontrollers, circuit debugging, and engineering design.
Developed firmware, monitoring daemons, GPIO status indicators, thermal control, network recovery logic, and mechanical prototypes.
Based in Vancouver. Available for internships, engineering roles, and project conversations.
